Neighboring Orange Grove
We have an organic farm across the dirt road from us and an orange grove to the north and to the east of us. We have a neighbor to the south, but she has orange trees and a fence between us so we don’t see her house, which is a quarter of a mile away.
The sun was out and the bees were busy today. Also, we saw many hummingbirds darting from orange blossom to blossom, doing their job.
A lovely day to be outside. Those kumquats and Satsuma tangerines are delicious, by the way. Sweet, full of Vitamin C, and right off the tree. Hard to beat…

What a beautiful place. Do you ever consider building a little hut and just living there?
Yes, Linda. We talk about that every time we’re there. It is very peaceful there. We’ll see where the grandkids end up. Ojai is only an hour and a half from LA. We’ll see…
Sounds heavenly. We had a big dump of snow today. Not the heavy stuff, but fat light flakes. Enough to make it messy again. Send some of your sunshine here.
I can smell all those blossoms and am getting cabin fever.
