We had a wonderful family gathering last Saturday in Hollywood for the baptisms of our grandchildren, Lyla and Milo, at St. Thomas the Apostle. Our nephew Jim and his wife, Karri, flew in from Salt Lake City to serve as Lyla’s godparents. For Milo, Andrew’s sister, Christina, came down from Seattle, and his first cousin, Ernesto, drove in from Los Feliz. It was a joy to have so many family and friends gathered together for such a happy occasion. Canon Ian Elliott Davies, our priest and close friend, officiated, which was also very kind of him to do on a Saturday.

We had a lovely reception as well. Lots of food, laughter, and time together.

My heart is full.
