Today, we had the great treat to see our friends John and Janis Davies along with Richard Davies and Jan O’Neill, all fresh in from Wales. They are the father, mother, brother and sister- in- law of our friend and parish priest, Father Ian Davies. Ian has a ” big” birthday on Tuesday so his family made the trek across the pond to celebrate. We will join in on that celebration.

These folks are among our favorite people in the world. They all have wonderful senses of humor and laugh easily and often. They also happen to be lovely and kind. No matter how long it’s been since we’ve seen each other, it’s as though it was just day before yesterday. We fall right back into conversation with the greatest of ease.
