Today, women from Story Circle Network’s monthly “Writing Extravaganza” came together and presented a reading of short memoir pieces and poetry. The stories range from funny to poignant and explore many aspects of life. Each woman was inspired to write her piece based on various prompts that were offered by the facilitator, B. Lynn Goodman. The coordinator of the Writing Extravaganza is Carol Ziel. Thanks to both of these women for their dedication to encouraging all women to tell their stories at whatever level they might find themselves.

This is approximately a 30-minute recording. I believe you’ll find the stories well worth your time. I am proud to count myself among these writing sisters. Their willingness to open their hearts on the page is inspiring.
