In ten years, I hope I will…
Continue to share my life with my husband Ray
Enjoy good health
Live a stable and happy existence
Stay close to my children, their spouses, my grandchildren, and, hopefully,
a couple of unborn grandkids
Remain in close contact with my extended family and friends, near and far
Spend lots of time out in nature
Stay engaged in the world around me
Continue to pursue my passion for the written word, through both reading and writing
Remain connected to Story Circle Network
Actively participate in my spiritual community
Learn new things, go to new places, meet new people
Give back to others
Live in gratitude
Savor here and now
Operate as a safe and consistent friend
Age with grace
Thought-provoking, Len. At eighty-four I find it impossible to think ten years ahead, because the question of whether I will still be around seems to linger. I was impressed that a friend, a year older than I am and in poor health, made a reservation for April 24 to see the eclipse in the Hill Country. I thought that was optimism.
Hi Judy. Yes, I’ll be 80 in 10 years, and thought of you and Susan/a and was aware I could consider what I might be doing. I understand that by 84, ten years is a different equation. I am impressed with your friend’s optimism!
