I saw Luna, Nico and Lyla last night. Sarah and I went to the park where they had gone with their babysitter and when they saw me they ran right over and gave me a big hug. “Grandma!” they called out.

After dinner back at their house, I played a card game with Luna and Nico, then helped Luna with her homework. We had a good laugh over Grandma trying to read the directions in Spanish since Luna and Nico are both in dual immersion. Lyla passed out shortly after dinner. She was clearly worn out from all that playing at the park.

Then I chatted a bit with Sarah and Gregorio before I made the forty-five minute drive back over to my part of town.

I will see them all next Sunday when we go over to celberate Halloween together.

How lucky I am to have these darling grandkids in my life. I am truly blessed.
