Here, Safe and Sound

We have arrived safely at our Texas home, making the 1400 mile trek listening primarily to “The Moth” podcasts. These are real stories told by either storytellers or regular ole folks about their lives, and because it was the end of the year, we heard the “Best of 2013” stories all day long. If you have never heard these stories, then go to “The Moth” website and take a listen. You’ll be hooked.

I am happy we’re here. Our trip was calm and peaceful with great weather.

    Another 1400 miles? Oh, my. No matter who I read, I keep thinking they’re driving in snow like we’re getting now. Brr. At least you didn’t have to fight that. 😉

      No, the weather was clear and beautiful and the roads weren’t crowded. We were rolling along, drinking coffee, chatting and listening to story after story from “The Moth.” I love cross-country driving.
