A long day of work
Students from morning ’til night
Green against gray skies
I love my students
They are smart and fresh and strong
White flashes of light
My life is enriched
Through this “enrichment” I give
The mourning dove coos
How did this happen?
This unplanned, but happy life?
Sweet like gardenias
Gratitude fills me
The gift of life so fragile
Far off a dog barks

Beautiful words from a beautiful lady. I can still see your smile while in Austin.
Thank you so much, Pat. From one beautiful lady to another.
“The gift of life so fragile”. Ah. I LOVE it. Very nice, Len.
Thanks, Tess. I like that line, too!
What a refreshing end -of-day reflection
Pat is right about your smile…
it lingers!
Thank you so much, Nancilynn. As does yours!
