Today at 5:30 pm, my beloved sister-in-law, Sandra, died.
I talked to her yesterday on the phone and told her I loved her and would see after her three grown girls.
Today, all day I have thought about her and then late this afternoon, I received the phone call.
Sandra is one of my oldest friends.
Enough said.
May light perpetual shine upon her.

So sorry about Sandra, Len. Even with their combined health issues, the last time I saw George and her together, they seemed to be just made for each other. I didn’t know her well, but always felt she was a gentle and sweet soul. My sympathies for all in your family!

Thanks so much, Carol. Yes, George and Sandra were truly made for each other. Leslie, their daughter, said last night that she felt happy imagining them back together again. I love that image, too.
Sandra and George were both dear friends of ours when we were in Bonham. I just happened to see the Facebook post on the photograph, and realized something must have happened. What a sweet, gentle soul she was. Peggy and Bill Elvington
So sorry, Peggy, that this is how you are getting the word on Sandra. Yes, she was a very “sweet, gentle soul.” She is at peace now. There is comfort in that.
