In case you’ve been wondering where I’ve been for the past few days, here is the answer.

Rachael and Andrew welcomed this little fellow into the world on Tuesday, March 17th, at 2:44 am. He arrived weighing in at 8 lbs 7 oz, and a solid 20 inches long. A big healthy boy who is settling into this world quite nicely, aided by lots of adoring folks on big sides of the family who are thrilled he has joined us on this life journey.

Rachael ended up with an emergency C-section, which was terrifying because it happened so fast, but we learned after twenty very long minutes that mama and baby were well. Since then, everything has been perking along quite nicely.
