Today, we celebrated baby Milo’s impending birth with a baby shower planned and implemented by Andrew’s dad, Roger. This was an opportunity for us to get to know Roger better and to meet his brother, sister-in-law, their kids, grandkids, and other close family and friends.

Roger hosted the party at the restaurant of one of his friends he has known since Junior High, and we had the whole back room to ourselves, which was beautifully decorated for the occasion. The food was delicious and everyone had lots of fun. Dessert was popsicles from one of the family friends attending, who owns an ice cream shop.

I really enjoyed the opportunity to get to know Roger’s side of the family. I met lots of nice people who told me how much they love Rachael and are so happy she and Andrew found each other.

Baby Milo is already a very lucky boy to have so many people who can’t wait to meet him and are ready to love him.

I am feeling quite blessed that our sweet Rachael is surrounded by such love.

Thank you, Roger, for organizing such a wonderful celebration. You have raised such fine kids. I know you are very proud of all of them.
