Ray and I just returned from the “friends and family” dress rehearsal for the Sherman Community Players’ production of Lend Me a Soprano, a play by Ken Ludwig. The play is directed by our old, dear friend, Darrah Dunn, SCP’s artistic director.
This is a fun, lively theatrical experience with a zany story, strong performances, and some genuinely laugh-out-loud moments. It’s well worth the price of admission and will be running from February 6–22, 2026 on the main stage.
If you’re looking for a fun theater experience, this is the show for you. Here’s the website where you can purchase tickets: https://www.scptheater.org/box-office/
I snapped a photo of the set before the performance. Darrah is also an A-1 set designer.
