Today is our youngest grandchild’s 3rd birthday. He is the son of our daughter Liz and her husband Ron. Ethan had a big birthday party at his Memaw Cindy’s house yesterday afternoon and evening. Ray and I were there along with Auntie Sarah, Uncle, Gregorio, cousins Luna, Nico, and Lyla, plus Auntie Rachael, Uncle Andrew, and baby Milo in Auntie Rachael’s tummy. There were lots of friends there, too, plus a great uncle and a first cousin once removed on the Betty side of the family.

Ethan loves Halloween, so it was a Halloween-themed party with all the kids wearing costumes. The dining room was in full Halloween regalia, while the living room was all Christmas. It was quite festive!

Ray and I have the pleasure of seeing this little fellow almost every day since he lives here in Ojai at the orange grove. You might say we are a little fond of him.

Happy birthday, Ethan. Memaw and Papa love you—of that, you can be sure.
