Barb and Ted’s Wedding: 15 Years Coming and Then Covid Hita

Our friends, Barb and Ted, got married this past weekend. First wedding for both at ages 71 and 72. They’ve been together 15 years. As luck would have it, Ted came down with Covid on their wedding day. Still, they were determined for the show to go on, and it did! A beauty wedding for a dear couple who were made for each other. Yea, masks were worn by some but the spirit of the occasion could not be dampened. Over sixty people came from all over the US to help them celebrate. Ray and I were two.

Here are a few photos. Barb’s long-term friend Alan walked her down the aisle. Barb’s dad, in his 90s, couldn’t come due to the danger of Covid, but besides that sad turn of events, the rest of the evening went off without a hitch.

Best wishes to two very lovely people. Wishing you both much happiness.

Thanks for sharing your love with the rest of us!
