Hi all,

I am letting you know that I am delaying my book release for a few weeks. Between the Southern California fires and the upcoming Inauguration, I decided to let everything settle down before sending my book out into the world. I realize I’m making an assumption that things will settle down, which is a gamble. Still, releasing my book on January 21, my birthday, the day after the Inauguration, seems like a recipe for instant oblivion. Plus, my concern over the LA fires has gotten me off-track with my plan to let you know more about my writing process, the period in which the book takes place, my motivation for writing the book, etc. I think these blog pieces are important to give some helpful background, and I’d like the time to write and post them. So, keep an eye out for upcoming posts on Hope in a Time of Dying. They’ll be coming soon.
