This is what I did today, the day before our trip to Sicily for two weeks:
- Made baby Ethan oatmeal with fruit.
- Watered all the plants around the grove.
- Gave our dog Frankie a bath with Ethan’s help for her two-week stay with our friend/priest Ian.
- Brushed Cordelia so she would be ready for her two-week stay as well.
- Washed all the towels we used for Frankie and also for the grandkids’ recent visit.
- Dug out some sweaters.
- Packed my backpack.
- Polished my leather clogs.
- Washed the dishes, took out the trash, and took out the compost.
- Took eBay packages to Attitude Adjustment Shoppe for FedEx.
- Picked up packages, three of which were small items for the trip.
- Ate lunch with Liz and Ethan before he headed in for his nap.
- Got my hair cut.
- Saw two students.
- Picked up one more package at Attitude Adjustment.
- Ate dinner with Liz, Ron and Ethan.
- More trip prep – tried on compression socks, weighed our backpacks, etc.
- Took a shower.
- In bed by 10:30
- Hopefully, I will be asleep in five minutes since we are waking up early to complete the final stuff necessary before leaving around 8 am.
Night night.
