After one Story Circle executive board meeting and seven sessions with college and law school essay students today, I am heading home for a good night’s sleep. I will wake up early tomorrow to prepare for our trip to Sicily before seeing two final students in the late afternoon. Ray and I will have a couple of hours on Thursday morning to tie up loose ends before heading to LAX. Hopefully, we’ll both have haircuts and a few clothes in our bags by the time we get on the airplane.

It’s been a busy but rewarding time. I am happy to celebrate all those fabulous college essays and personal statements by heading to Sicily for ten days of fun, writing, and camaraderie with family, friends, and writing students.
