Ray and I are on an Air France flight to Paris, waiting to take off. So far, I have no one on the other end of my row. Ray has the same. We are sitting in aisle seats and he is in front of me. He was supposed to be across but a teenage girl is flying alone and no one can be seated with her. She has three seats.
Lots of movie choices. I am looking forward to doing nothing but either watching movies or sleeping.
I am a native Texan who has lived for the past 30 years in Southern California. I am a published author of both short memoir and fiction, a two-time Pushcart nominee, a nationally award-winning writing coach, an editor, as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. In addition, I am the mother of three grown daughters of whom I am extremely proud, a grandmother of four darling children and the wife of a man I still love after 44 years.

Have a wonderful trip. 8 days in Paris to enjoy museums sounds like a dream. Have so much fun. Why did the teenager on the flight have to have three seats to herself? Did she pay for all the seats? Seems awkward.
Yes, we are so looking forward to our time here in Paris. Turns out the little girl was the daughter of one of the flight attendants. We realized that after she called her “Mama” at one point when her mom stopped by to check on her. Sweet little kid. That explains the three seats!
