Today, there were a few highlights. Here they are:
- Ethan was able to show both Grandma and Grandpa (separately) which picture was a caterpillar on a page with multiple animals and insects. At 14 months old, this is quite impressive and we are all certain he is not only an adorable little fellow, but also a very smart one.
- Ray and I delivered a van-load of furniture to Rachael and Andrew in Covina for the house they are moving into. The house sale closed earlier in the week and they are now in the process of getting settled. In exchange for our furniture donation and delivery, we had the chance to hang out with these two charming people and then were treated to dinner at a nearby Ethiopian restaurant, which is ranked by Yelp as #14 of the best Ethiopian restaurants in the country. It was delicious.
- We are sleeping at Andrew and Rachael’s former home tonight since they haven’t moved their bed yet. Very cozy indeed.
- Tomorrow we will go to early church, then out to Sarah’s for a little while. We are recovering Sarah and Gregorio’s dining room chairs for them since we know how to do this. It should be a fun and productive visit!
As for now, I’m headed to sleep early. I am looking forward to a restful night in this very quiet place with its comfy bed.
I hope everyone is having a good President’s Day weekend. I’ll be checking back in tomorrow.
