We Made It!

We have safely arrived back home in California after our driving trip to Texas. Hallelujah.

We stopped by and saw Rachael and Andrew in Covina and then Sarah, Luna, and Lyla in South Pasadena. (Gregorio and Nico were at a birthday party of one of Nico’s friends.) Then we drove to Ojai and saw Liz, Ron, and Ethan (who was busy stacking and unstacking books when we went in to say hello).

We drove from just outside of Tucson today and are very tired. Tomorrow we plan to do nothing but rest.

Below is a photo of the mountain range we saw as we traveled west on Interstate 10 just outside of Palm Springs. It was spectacular with its snow-covered peaks that I assume were the result of all the precipitation Southern CA has received in recent weeks.

I am so happy to be back. That is a 1500-mile trip one way, which takes pretty close to 24 hours of driving. I don’t need to get back in a car for a while. I’ll be happy to just hang out in one place for a bit before venturing back out!

Good night, friends. I hope all is well in your worlds.

    Dear Len,

Amen!! Beautiful picture. I used drive by San Gorgonio every time I went to my parents ranch in Arizona. It brings back fond memories. Glad you are home safe and sound. Enjoy your rest.
