Tomorrow, bright and early, Ray and I will start our drive back to California. We have been delayed a couple of days because of the inclement weather. We also are driving south and picking up Interstate 10 so we don’t encounter snow. Though we love the Interstate 40 route, it is not in our future for this trip. Unless, of course, we learn of a major weather change.
We are pulling a trailer so that’s always a bit tricky. Hopefully, it’ll be easy to pull and there will be no issues. I tend to do the majority of the driving unless we have a temperamental trailer, in which case Ray takes over. I will admit, he is more adept at keeping a wobbly trailer from getting too wobbly. I will gladly defer to his expertise if we find ourselves in that situation.
I am sad to leave since we’ve had a great visit with lots of work and visiting, which was wonderful. However, I have some little grandkids I need to hug and kiss and some grown-up kids as well, so I’m looking forward to that!
We are busily getting ready to go so this will be short and sweet tonight. I will write on the road or else from our motel room once we arrive in the evening. I’ll post photos as well. I always enjoy the wide open sky on these trips. Makes me feel free.
Off we go.
