Let’s see how tomorrow unfolds
Like a flower
Or a chair
Or maybe a spring-loaded tent
Let’s see how that unfolding happens
Gently
With a little help
Or all on its own
Maybe tomorrow will be resistant
And stay comfortably folded
Happy to maintain its more protected state
Until further notice
Tomorrow’s unfolding remains a mystery
Until tomorrow
When we will see
Exactly what does or does not unfold
