Ron, Ethan, Liz, Ray, Len, Karri, and Jim

Today, we went to Carpinteria, a coastline town above Ventura, where we spent the afternoon. We ate a good lunch at a seafood restaurant, walked down to the beach, then strolled through the shopping district of this quaint seaside community. My nephew, Jim (sister Leslie’s son), and his wife Karri, live in Utah and came down for a visit to meet and get to know little Ethan. They are close family members and we love having them near for a few days. They are also quite taken with our little Ethan, who is only getting cuter and sweeter by the day.

Our day was lovely. Tomorrow, we’ll head to the Ojai 4th of July parade. I’ll have a lot of photos to share of that event, which I’ll post tomorrow evening.
