Arrived this afternoon
803 miles across Texas to El Paso
Then 700 through New Mexico and Arizona to Los Angeles
Sunset Boulevard bustling
People in shorts
75 degrees and sunshine
Seeing students late afternoon and early evening
Back to work after 2 weeks off
Sitting in my living room as if I never left
Falling asleep watching the news
Eyelids heavy
Ready for bed after so many miles
Happy to be here safe
Strange this living in two states
The same full moon overhead

Glad you made it home safe.
Thanks, Pat. Thought about you yesterday when we were on the road. I told my husband about you and your RVing. We both agreed that sounds like a lot of fun!
That’s a lot of miles. Glad you’re home safe and sound.
Thanks so much. I am, too!
Thank you for your kind words.
